This website www.haipp.gr, (hereinafter referred to as “the Website“) is provided by the non-profit civil company named “Hellenic Association of Independent Power Companies” (HAIPP), with its registered office in Athens (124 Kifisias Avenue & Iatridou 2, P.C. 11526) (hereinafter referred to as “HAIPP“). The use of the Website by the user presupposes their unconditional acceptance of these terms of use, which apply to all content, pages, graphics, images, photos, and files included on the Website (hereinafter referred to as “the Terms of Use“). Therefore, the user must read these Terms of Use carefully before using the services of the Website, and if they do not agree, they should refrain from using the services and general content of the Website. HAIPP reserves the right to unilaterally modify the Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. HAIPP will post the current version of the Terms of Use on the Website to keep the user informed. Users are requested to periodically review the content of the Terms of Use. Continuing to use the content and/or services of the Website following each modification implies the user’s unconditional acceptance of the modified Terms of Use.

Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights

Except where explicitly stated (third-party intellectual property rights, partners, etc), the content of the Website is the intellectual property of HAIPP. This content includes, indicatively but not limited to, information, texts, images, designs, graphics, videos, software applications, provided services, as well as logos, names, trademarks, and distinguishing features that belong to the administrator and/or the persons mentioned on the Website as holders of the relevant rights. 

The content of the Website is made available to its users for personal use only. HAIPP encourages the use of the Website content for personal information, as well as for educational or research purposes. Use within a business or any legal entity is not considered private use. For educational or research purposes only, reproduction or storage of individual pages or data is permitted, provided that the source and author are acknowledged (if they appear on the Website), and the relevant intellectual and industrial property rights are not affected. Users are informed that certain files or data may be the intellectual property of third parties (associates, organizations, companies, etc.), and cannot be used without the permission of these third parties. 

Any act of reproduction, republication, transmission, or distribution of any part of the Website’s content for commercial purposes or for any other use that does not fall within the above paragraph is strictly prohibited without prior written permission from HAIPP.

The use of such links is at the sole responsibility of the user of the Website, while the respective websites will be subject to their own terms of use, for which HAIPP bears no responsibility.

Limitations and Exclusions of our Liability

HAIPP takes all appropriate measures and makes every effort to ensure that the information and data contained on the Website are complete, accurate, and reliable. 

However, HAIPP makes no representation or warranty that the Website (or any part thereof) will be accurate, complete, or error-free. HAIPP does not accept any liability for any damages, direct or consequential, of any kind resulting from the use of the Website or from reliance on information or materials published on the Website. HAIPP is not responsible or liable for any matter relating to users or any third parties accessing or using this site and its contents. HAIPP is also not responsible for any direct or indirect, positive or consequential damages to the Website’s users, resulting from illegal acts by third parties (e.g., hacking or decoding of codes and data), the spread of viruses during the use of the Website or the downloading of any content from it, or for any issues that may arise during the use of electronic computers or devices (e.g., data loss). 

Furthermore, HAIPP is not liable for any interruption of the Website’s operation, nor for any difficulty users may face in accessing it for any reason. HAIPP assumes no responsibility and does not guarantee the content, privacy policy, correctness, legality, completeness, timeliness, accuracy, or quality of services and security of other websites linked through hyperlinks, links, etc., nor for the servers through which the Website and other websites are available to the user. Applicable Law – Other Terms

The Terms of Use, as may be amended from time to time, are governed and interpreted by Greek law. Any disputes arising from the application of the Terms of Use and the general use of the Website by the user shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Athens if not resolved amicably. 

Any provision of the Terms of Use that becomes contrary to law ceases to be in effect automatically, without affecting the validity of the remaining terms.
