Loukas Dimitriou holds the position of General Manager at HERON II, having more than twenty-five years of experience in the fields of development, management and implementation of energy projects, investments evaluation, energy markets operation, as well as τhe strategic planning and business reorganization.
During the period 2020-2021 he was General Manager of the RES Sector of ELLAKTOR, while before, from the mid of 2018, he was the COO of ELLAKTOR Group.
Since the beginning of 2000 he held various executive positions in companies of the energy sector.
In the period 2009-2018, he held the position of Regulatory & Business Development Director at Elpedison.
Since 2003, he held the position of General Manager of Hellenic Energy and Development SA, having been a founding executive and Development Manager of the company from 2000 to 2003.
From 1996 to 2000 he assumed various positions and duties in the Project Management Team of the National Gas Transmission System project.
He is a graduate of the department of Chemical Engineering of NTUA, while he participated in various Boards of Directors, committees and professional associations.
